I think if I were to design a ratings system from scratch, I’d have each champion rated three separate times for Early, Middle, and Late game use. Thankfully, Ayumilove’s site is here to give a better sense (though it’s just one person’s opinion, generally). But it’s literally true that some Rares and many Epics are objectively better than some Legendaries, etc., but you can’t tell from in-game ratings whether Dunestrider is as good as Coldheart, or just good for people who are at a point where Dunestrider gets them over the low-mid-game hump.

I mean, that wouldn’t be the single way to do it, because to endgame players, almost everything is meh. I wish there were a way to weight the in-game ratings based on player power or something.
